LG L35: Add, Import / Export and Manage Contacts and Caller Groups

Managing Contacts



Adding a New Contact:

1. While viewing the home screen, tap "Contacts"


2. Tap the "+" icon


3. Select where you wish to save the contact, such as "Phone", "SIM " or "Google"


4. Type in the contact's name in the appropriate field


5. Enter the contact's phone number and select a phone number type


6. Enter any additional details for the contact and tap "Save"

Assigning a Contact to Speed Dial:

1. Tap the "Phone" icon while on the home screen


2. Press the "Menu" button


3. Tap "Speed dial"


4. Select the keypad number you wish to assign (NOTE: you can choose between 2 and 99)


5. Select the contact that you wish to associate with the keypad number

Importing Contacts:

1. Launch the "Contacts" application


2. Press the "Menu" button


3. Tap "Import / Export"


4. Select to "Import from SIM card", "Import from SD card" or "Import from internal storage"


5. Choose the location where you wish to save the contact


6. Follow any self-explanatory on-screen steps to complete the operation

Exporting Contacts:

1. Tap "Contacts" while on the home screen


2. Press the "Menu" key


3. Tap "Import / Export"


4. Select "Export to SIM card", "Export to SD card" or "Export to internal storage"


5. Choose the contacts you want to export


6. Follow any additional steps to complete the export

Deleting Contacts:

1. Launch the "Contacts" application


2. Tap and hold the contact that you wish to remove


3. Tap "Delete contact"


4. Confirm by tapping "Yes". You should briefly see a "Deleted" message on-screen

Managing Groups



Creating a Caller Group:

1. Tap "Contacts" while on the home screen


2. Go to the "Groups" tab


3. Press "Menu" > "New group"


4. Type in the group's name


5. Optionally, assign a ringtone for the group


6. Add members as you desire and tap "Save" when ready

Adding Contacts to an Existing Group:

1. Launch the "Contacts" application


2. Tap the "Groups" tab


3. Select the group that you wish to add members to


4. Press the "Menu" key and tap "Edit group" > "Add members"


5. Select the contacts that you want to add


6. Tap "Add" > "Save"

Remove Contacts from a Caller Group:

1. From the "Contacts" app, go to the "Groups" tab


2. Select the desired group


3. Press "Menu" > "Edit group"


4. Tap the red "X" button associated with the contact that you wish to remove form the group


5. Tap "Save"
