Data Usage
Enabling / Disabling the Data Usage Limiter:
The data usage limiter allows you to set a limit for data transfer, in order to prevent you from using more data than your allowance, thus avoiding extra charges on your contract. Note: it's recommended that you set a lower limit value than the actual allowance. Your carrier's method of measuring data differs from the one used by your phone.

Enabling / Disabling the Data Usage Limiter:
The data usage limiter allows you to set a limit for data transfer, in order to prevent you from using more data than your allowance, thus avoiding extra charges on your contract. - While on the home screen, tap "All apps"
- Tap "Settings" > "Data usage"
- If necessary, tap the "Mobile data" switch to turn on this feature
- Perform one of the following steps:
- Enabling the Data Usage Limit:
- Mark the "Limit mobile data usage" check box
- Tap and hold the "Red bar" on the graph and set it to the desired amount. Once this limit is reached, data connectivity will be automatically disabled
- Set a Data Usage Warning:
- Tap and hold the "Orange bar", and drag it to the desired value. Once this limit is reached, data connectivity will not be disabled, but you will be notified
- Enabling the Data Usage Limit:
Viewing Data Usage by App:
- While on the home screen, tap "All apps"
- Tap "System settings"
- Tap "Mobile data"
- If necessary, drag the blue bars on the graph to edit the time period that you wish to include
- Scroll down to view the list of applications, listed from those that have used the most data, to the lowest
- Tap an application to view detailed information about data consumption
Internet Browser Management
Clearing the Browser Cache, Cookies and History:
- While on the home screen, tap "All apps"
- Tap "Chrome" to launch the default browser
- Press the "Menu" icon depicting three vertical dots
- Tap "History" > "Clear browsing data"
- Tap "Clear browsing history", and then tap "Clear"
- Tap "Clear the cache", and then tap "Clear"
- Tap "Clear cookies, site data" and tap "Clear"
Using Tabbed Browsing:
- Tap "All apps" on the home screen
- Tap "Chrome" to launch the browser
- To open additional windows:
- Tap the "Menu" icon
- Tap "new tab" to add a standard tap, or tap "new incognito tab" for private browsing
- To navigate between open windows / closing tabs:
- While on the Chrome browser, tap the "Tabs" button
- Swipe between tabs and select the one that you wish to open
- To close a tab, press the "X" button associated with it
- To close all tabs, tap the "Menu" icon and select "Close all tabs"

- While viewing the home screen, tap "All apps"
- Tap "Settings"
- Tap "Google" under "Accounts"
- Under the "Sync" menu, mark or unmark the check boxes associated with:
- Sync app data
- Sync Calendar
- Sync Chrome
- Sync Contacts
- Sync Gmail
- Sync Google Photos
- Sync Google Play Books
- Sync Google Play Magazines
- Sync Google Play Music
- Sync People details
