Boost Mobile mise à jour supprime les paramètres

I'm new to Android, have a Kyocera Hydro Edge on Boost Mobile.



This morning, my phone displayed that a PRL update had occurred. All of my Play Store apps were gone, and all of my settings were deleted. Essentially, my phone thinks it has never been set up.



Is this common? Does anyone know how to avoid this in the future?
