Samsung Galaxy Core Plus: Add, Import / Export and Manage Contacts and Contact Groups

Managing Contacts



Adding a New Contact:

1. While viewing the home screen, tap the "Contacts" icon


2. Go to the "Contacts" tab


3. Presse la »+" icon and select the location where you want to add the contact:
   
   
   
   
   • SIM
   
   
   • Device
   
   
   • Google
   
   
   
   


4. Enter the contact's name in the "First name" field


5. Type in additional information for the contact, as desired. NOTE: to learn how to customize a contact with a custom ringtone, visit this link


6. When you're done editing the contact, tap "Save"

Importing / Exporting Contacts from the SD Card:

1. Open the "Contacts" application and go to the "Contacts" tab


2. Presse la »Menu« bouton et appuyez sur »Import / Export"


3. Perform one of the following:
   
   
   
   
   • To copy contacts from the SD card to the device's memory:
     
     
     
     
     1. Robinet"Import from SD card"
     
     
     2. Select the location where you wish to save the contacts, such as a Google account
     
     
     3. Robinet"OK"
     
     
     4. Sélectionnez"Import vCard file"/"Import multiple vCard files" or "Import all vCard files"
     
     
     5. Robinet"OK"
     
     
     6. If required, select the desired VCF file and then tap "OK"
     
     
     
     
   
   
   • To copy contacts from the device to the SD card:
     
     
     
     
     1. Robinet"Export to SD card"
     
     
     2. Presse"OK"Pour confirmer
     
     
     
     
   
   
   
   

Importing / Exporting Contacts from the SIM Card:

1. From the "Contacts" application, swipe to the "Contacts" tab


2. Presse la »Menu" key


3. Robinet"Import / Export" and perform one of the following sets of steps:
   
   
   
   
   • To copy contacts from the device's memory to the SIM card:
     
     
     
     
     1. Robinet"Export to SIM card"
     
     
     2. Select the desired contacts, or tap "Select all"
     
     
     3. Robinet"Done">"OK"
     
     
     
     
   
   
   • To copy contacts from the SIM card to the device:
     
     
     
     
     1. Robinet"Import from SIM card"
     
     
     2. Select the location for the contacts, an account etc. and then tap "OK"
     
     
     3. Mark the check boxes associated with the desired contacts, or tap "Select all"
     
     
     4. Robinet"Done"Pour confirmer
     
     
     
     
   
   
   
   

Adding a Contact to Speed Dial:

1. Open the "Phone" application from the home screen


2. If necessary, touch the "Keypad" tab to view the dialer


3. Presse"Menu« et tap »Speed dial settings"


4. Select the dial pad number that you want to assign


5. Choose the contact that you wish to associated with the dial pad number

Deleting Contacts:

1. Exploiter les »Contacts"Icône située sur l'écran d'accueil


2. Accès au »Contacts" tab. NOTE: you can delete contacts from a specific list, such as Google contacts, by pressing "Menu">"Contacts to display" and selecting a contact list


3. Presse"Menu">"Delete"


4. Mark the check boxes next to the desired contacts, or tap "Select all"


5. Robinet"Delete" and confirm with "OK"

Managing Contact Groups



Creating a New Caller Group:

1. Launch the "Contacts" app


2. Accès au »Groups" tab


3. Presse"Menu« et tap »Create"


4. Type in a name for the group


5. Robinet"Add member" and mark the check boxes associated with the members that you wish to add


6. Robinet"Done" and "Save"

Adding a Contact to an Existing Caller Group:



NOTE: only contacts that are saved to the Phone's storage or a Google account can be added in a caller group.

1. Accès au »Contacts" app and go to "Groups"


2. Select the desired group


3. Presse la »+" button, or tap "Menu">"Edit">"Add member"


4. Select the contacts that you wish to add, or tap "Select all"


5. Robinet"Done"
