Alcatel Onetouch Fierce 2: Manage Contacts and Caller Groups

Managing Contacts



Add Contacts:

1. Tap "Phone" while on the home screen


2. Tap "Contacts" > "+ Add Contact"


3. Select to save the contact on "Google", "USIM" or "Phone"


4. Type in the contact's name and phone number in the proper fields


5. Enter any additional contact information as you see fit


6. When ready, tap "Done" to save the contact

Adding a Contact to Speed Dial:

1. Launch the "Phone" application


2. Go to the "Dialer" tab


3. Tap "Menu" > "Speed dial"


4. Tap the speed dial number you wish to use (2 through 9)


5. Select the contact you wish to associate with the previously selected speed dial number

Importing / Exporting Contacts from / to the SD Card:

1. While on the home screen, tap "People"


2. Tap "Contacts" and press "Menu"


3. Tap "Import / Export"


4. Swipe to "Copy Contacts From" and select "SD card" or "Phone"


5. Tap "Next"


6. Under "Copy Contacts To", select "Phone" or "SD Card"


7. Tap "Next" and choose the contacts you wish to copy


8. If necessary, select the vCard file you wish to import and press "OK"

Import / Export contacts from / to the SIM Card:

1. Tap "Apps" while on the home screen


2. Tap "People"


3. Go to "Contacts" and press "Menu"


4. Tap "Import / Export"


5. Under "Copy Contacts From", select either "Phone" or "SIM Card"


6. Tap "next"


7. Under "Copy Contacts To", tap "SIM Card" or "Phone"


8. Choose the contact(s) you wish to transfer, or tap "Select all"


9. Tap "Import contacts" / "Export contacts"


10. Follow any additional steps that may follow and tap "OK"

Deleting Contacts:

1. Launch the "People" application


2. Access the "Contacts" section and press "Menu"


3. Tap "Delete contact" twice


4. Select the contact(s) you want to remove


5. Tap the "Trash can" icon and touch "OK" to confirm

Caller Group Management



Create a Caller Group:

1. Tap "Apps" while on the home screen


2. Tap "People" and access the "Groups" tab


3. Tap "Add group"


4. Select if you wish to add the group to your phone or to your Google account


5. Optionally, edit the "Group name"


6. Type in the names of the contacts you wish to add to the group


7. Tap "Add contacts" to select multiple contacts


8. Tap "Done"

Adding Contacts to an Existing Group:

1. Launch the "People" application


2. Go to the "Groups" tab


3. Select the group you wish to add contacts to


4. Tap "Menu" and select "Edit"


5. Enter the name of the contact you wish to add to the group


6. Alternatively, tap "Add contacts" and select multiple contacts


7. Tap "Done" to save the changes
