switching back to verizon?????

I bought a Samsung Note II programmed for page plus. The phone has the Verizon logo on the front of it. Well I activated it with page plus and let it expire because it was terrible service. I tried to activate it with Verizon last week but they told me it wouldn't work because it was flashed to page plus. Can I get it back toverizon programming?
