Transfer Contacts from the Samsung Galaxy Note II to the Samsung Galaxy S5 Active

Using Your Google Account to Transfer Contacts:



Using your Google account, you can sync the contacts saved on the Samsung Galaxy Note II, allowing you in turn to re-sync the contacts from the Google account with your Samsung Galaxy S5 Active. This is a common method of contact transfer and it can be done by following the steps below:




  1. Sign in with your Google account on the Galaxy Note II

  2. Presse"Menu"Tandis que sur l'écran d'accueil

  4. Moins »Mes comptes", Tapez"Google"

  5. Tapez sur votre »nom d'utilisateur»Ou«Adresse de Courriel"

  6. Mark and clear the check box next to "Synchroniser les contacts". Sinon, appuyez sur "Synchroniser maintenant"

  7. On the Samsung Galaxy S5 Active, register the same Google account as the one used on the Note II

  10. Moins »My Accounts", select the desired account

  11. Presse"Menu" > "Sync all"

  12. You should now receive all the contacts stored on your Google account




Transferring Contacts using "Import / Export":



You can use the contacts / people app in order to export the contacts from the Note II in the form of a vCard file, which can then be transferred to the Galaxy S5 Active using a computer or via email. To perform this method:




  1. Launch the "Contacts" app on the Note II

  2. Go to the "Contacts" tab and press "Menu"

  3. Sélectionnez"Contacts to display" > "All contacts"

  4. Presse"Menu« et tap »Import / Export"

  5. Robinet"Export to SD card". NOTE: you should remember the name of the backup file for future use

  6. Robinet"OK"

  7. Open the email app and compose a new email

  8. Attach the VCF file to the email and send it to your own Gmail address

  9. Switch over to the Samsung Galaxy S5 Active and open the email containing the vCard

  10. Download the file and launch the "Contacts" app

  11. Presse"Menu" > "Import / Export" > "Import from SD Card" > select an account and load the vCard file




NOTE: you can also use a computer to transfer the VCF file from one phone to another. All you need to do is to connect both smartphones to the PC via USB, and copy the vCard file from the Note II to the Active



Using "Send Anywhere" to Transfer Contacts:



Send Anywhere is an app that can be used to transfer contacts from one phone to another through a P2P connection. As such, you are not required to have access to a computer in order to complete this method




  1. Visit the Google Play Store and download "Send Anywhere" on both devices

  2. Launch the app on both smartphones

  3. Switch to the Galaxy Note II and tap "Send" > "Contacts"

  4. Select the contacts that you want to transfer and tap "Send"

  5. Choose the desired transfer method. You can tap "Generate QR Code" on the Note II in order to create a code that can be scanned with the Active's camera in order to commence the transfer. You can also tap "Receive" on the Active, and enter the randomly generated transfer code from the Note II

Managing Contacts



Adding a New Contact:




  1. Exploiter les »Contacts"Icône située sur l'écran d'accueil

  2. Access the "Contacts" tab

  3. Exploiter les »+" button and select to store the contact on the "Device»,«SIM card»,«Google»Ou«Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync"

  4. Enter the contact's name in the appropriate field

  5. Type in the contact's phone number, and add any other type of information that you see fit

  6. When you've finished editing the contact, tap "Save"




Ajout d'un contact à la numérotation rapide:




  1. Exploiter les »Téléphone" icon while viewing the home screen

  2. Exploiter les »Keypad" tab if necessary

  3. Press the "Menu" icon and tap "Speed dial"

  4. Select the number you wish to use for speed dialing

  5. Select the contact that you want to assign to the speed dial number




Suppression de contacts:




  1. Launch the "Contacts" application and go to the "Contacts" tab

  2. Press "Menu"

  3. Robinet"Delete" and mark the contacts that you want to remove

  4. Robinet"Done">"OK"




Importing / Exporting Contacts



Importing / Exporting Contacts from the SIM Card:




  1. Launch the "Contacts" app

  2. Go to the "Contacts" tab and press "Menu"

  3. Robinet"Réglages">"Contacts"

  4. Robinet"Import / Export"

  5. Perform one of the following sets of steps:


    • To export contacts to the SIM Card:


      1. Sélectionnez"Export to SIM card"

      2. Select the contacts that you want to export, or tap "Select all"

      3. Robinet"Done"

      4. Press "OK"



    • To import contacts from the SIM card:


      1. Robinet"Import from SIM card"

      2. Choose an account or the location where you want to import the contacts

      3. Mark the check boxes associated with the desired contacts. NOTE: optionally you can tap "Select all"

      4. Robinet"Done"








Importing / Exporting Contacts from the SD Card:




  1. From the "Contacts" app, go to the "Contacts" tab

  2. Press the "Menu" button

  3. Robinet"Réglages">"Contacts"

  4. Sélectionnez"Import / Export" and perform one of the following:


    • To export contacts to the SD card:


      1. Robinet"Export to SD Card"

      2. Robinet"OK"Pour confirmer



    • To import contacts from the SD card:


      1. Robinet"Import from SD card"

      2. Choose the location where you want to import the contacts

      3. Select to "Import vCard file»,«Import multiple vCard files»Ou«Import all vCard files"

      4. Robinet"OK"

      5. If necessary, select the vCard file that you want to import and tap "OK"








Importing / Exporting Contacts from USB Storage:




  1. Open the "Contacts" app

  2. From the "Contacts" tab, press "Menu" and tap "Réglages"

  3. Robinet"Contacts">"Import / Export"

  4. Select to "Export to USB Storage»Ou«Import from USB storage"

  5. Follow any additional on-screen steps to complete the process




Caller Group Management



Création d'un groupe d'appel:




  1. Alors que sur l'écran d'accueil, appuyez sur l'"Contacts" shortcut

  2. Go to the "Groupes" tab depicted as a "+" symbol under "Favorites"

  3. Robinet"Create" and enter a name for the group

  4. Robinet"Add member" and mark the check boxes next to the contacts that you wish to add

  5. Robinet"Done">"Save"




Adding Contacts to an Existing Group:




  1. From the "Contacts" app, access the "Groupes" menu

  2. Select a group

À l'aide d'iTunes pour Transférer des Contacts:



iTunes can be used to sync the contacts from an iPhone with a Google account. By doing so, you can easily transfer the contacts over to the Samsung Galaxy S5 Active. For this approach you need a computer with Internet connection and iTunes installed. NOTE: if necessary, you can download the iTunes client from Apple's official website.




  1. Ouvrez iTunes sur l'ordinateur

  2. Utilisez la propriété câble USB pour connecter votre iPhone à l'ordinateur

  3. Once connected, the iPhone will appear in iTunes. Click it to open the smartphone's summary page

  4. Accès au »Infos" onglet et marque le "Synchronisation Des Contacts AvecCase "vérifier

  6. Enter your Google account's login credentials. If you've added an account in iTunes before, you can click "Configure" and select an existing account

In case you have used the iCloud service on your iPhone prior to following this guide, chances are that your contacts have already been backed up on your iCloud account. You can export your contacts in the form of a vCard file, by accessing your account using a computer hooked up to the Internet. To perform this method:




  1. Launch the Internet browser on your computer and go to https://www.icloud.com/

  2. Connectez-vous avec votre compte iCloud et cliquez sur "Contacts"

  3. From the list, mark the contacts that you want to export

  4. Click the icon shaped like a cog wheel, located in the lower-left side, and select "Exporter vCard"

  5. Wait for your computer to download the VCF file containing the previously selected contacts

  6. Once downloaded, import the file to Google Contacts. As an alternative, you can also connect the Samsung Galaxy S5 Active to your computer via USB, and copy the file in the "sdcard" directory. Then, launch the "People" app and press "Menu">"Import / Export">"Import from SD card". Select an account if required, and load the vCard file




Transferring Contacts via "My Contacts Backup":



"My Contacts Backup" is an iOS application that can be used in order to transfer the contacts from your iPhone without accessing a computer. The app can back up the contacts in a VCF file, which can then be sent to the Samsung Galaxy S5 Active via email.




  1. Launch the App Store and install "My Contacts Backup" sur votre iPhone

  2. Open the application

  3. Tap "Backup" and wait for the file to be created

  4. Once done, tap "Email" to attach the file to a new email

  5. In the "To" field, enter your own Gmail address

  6. Send the email, and open it from the Samsung Galaxy S5 Active

  7. Download the attachment on your Android device, and use the "People" app and "Import / Export" to transfer the contacts to your phonebook

Samsung Grand 2 voice issue

Hello experts,



I brought samsung grand 2 last month, basically I am in UAE and use to call to my family back there in India through internet calling.



But since I buy this phone, whenever I am making call through internet.



Through speaker only I can make a call, if speaker is not open then call is connected but I can not here nor other party can here me. so speaker must be active.



Apart from internet call, any other call like local I can use my phone normal, no need to activate speaker.



I have checked all setting about phone, but nothing help me out. Went to mobile shop and told him this problem, as a solution he suggest to uninstall antivirus software from phone, I did this but no result.



If someone can help me out is really appreciate.

Comment puis-je envoyer une photo par e-mail de mon Xperia M de téléphone cellulaire?

Salut....Est-il possible d'envoyer une photo directement à partir de mon Xperia cellule M...par exemple.. comme une pièce jointe à votre e-mail? ou de toute autre façon? Toutes les suggestions? Merci.
