How-to: Enable, Mange Bluetooth Connectivity and Receive Files via Bluetooth on the HTC One Mini

Enabling Bluetooth and Connecting a Bluetooth Device / Headset:

1. While on the home screen, swipe the status bar down using two fingers


2. In the "Quick Settings" panel, tap the "Bluetooth" tile to enable the feature


3. Press the "…" button associated with the Bluetooth tile


4. If the desired device is not available in the list, press the "Menu" button depicted as three vertical dots, and tap "Scan" to refresh the list


5. Once you see the desired device in the list, tap it to connect to it


6. If the pairing process requires a passcode, try "1234" or "0000"

Unpairing From a Bluetooth Device:

1. Using two fingers, swipe the status bar down and access the "Quick Settings" panel


2. Make sure that Bluetooth is enabled


3. Tap the "…" button associated with the Bluetooth tile


4. In the "Paired devices" section, tap the "Settings" icon associated with the desired device


5. Tap "Unpair"

Receiving Files using Bluetooth:

1. Swipe down on the status bar using two fingers


2. I the "Quick Settings" panel, tap the "Bluetooth" tile to enable Bluetooth


3. Press the "…" button associated with Bluetooth


4. To make your device visible to other Bluetooth devices, press the Bluetooth name of your device, located near the top of the screen


5. Send the desired files from the other device to the HTC One mini


6. Accept the pairing request if prompted to do so. If you are required to enter a passcode, enter it and confirm, or confirm the auto-generated passcode on both devices


7. Tap "Pair"


8. After your device receives a file transfer notification, slide the status bar down and tap the notification, then press "Accept"


9. After the file transfer is complete, you will be notified in the status bar
