How-to: Manage Various Network Settings on the Alcatel One Touch Fierce – APN and Data, Roaming and More

APN and Data Settings (adding a new APN):

4. Robinet"Réseaux mobiles">"Noms des points d'accès"


5. Presse la »Menu" icon depicting three vertical dots


6. Robinet"New APN" and edit the settings as desired


7. Presse la »Menu" icon again and tap "Save"

Selecting a Network Manually:

1. While viewing the home screen, tap "Toutes les applications"


2. Robinet"Réglages"


3. Moins »Sans fil et réseaux", Tapez"Plus"


4. Robinet"Réseaux mobiles"


5. Scroll to and tap "Network operators"


6. Robinet"Select manually" under "Available networks"


7. Robinet"OK"


8. Wait a few moments and then tap the desired network, then tap "OK"

Switching Between 4G and 3G:

1. From the home screen, tap "Toutes les applications"


2. Robinet"Réglages"


3. Moins »Sans fil et réseaux", Tapez"More.."


4. Robinet"Réseaux mobiles"


5. Select one of the following settings:
   
   
   
   
   • WCDMA only
   
   
   • GSM only
   
   
   • GSM / WCDMA auto
   
   
   • WCDMA
   
   
   
   

Enabling / Disabling Airplane Mode:



In airplane mode, all wireless connections will be disabled.

1. While on the home screen, tap "Toutes les applications"


2. Sélectionnez"Réglages"


3. Moins »Sans fil et réseaux", mark or clear the check box associated with "Airplane mode" to enable or disable this feature

Enabling / Disabling Data Roaming:

1. From any of the home screens, tap "All Apps"


2. Aller à"Réglages"


3. Robinet"More.." under "Sans fil et réseaux"


4. Robinet"Réseaux mobiles">"Data roaming"


5. To disable roaming, tap "Disable" under "Roaming mode"


6. To enable data roaming, select either "National roaming only" or "All networks"


7. Robinet"OK"Pour confirmer
