How-to: Send, Delete, and Manage Text (SMS) and Multimedia (MMS) Messages on the Alcatel One Touch Evolve

Sending Group Messages



Creating a Custom Group:

6. Exploiter les »+" symbol to add a contact. Alternatively, type a person's name in the appropriate field


7. Robinet"OK"


8. Press "Done" once you have added the desired contacts to the group

Sending a Message to an Existing Group:

1. While on the home screen, tap "Messaging"


2. Exploiter les »+" button located at the bottom to create a new message


3. Robinet"+" at the top of the screen to expand the menu, then tap "Groupes"


4. Select the desired group


5. Enter your message in the appropriate field, then tap "Send"Lorsque vous êtes prêt

Sending Multimedia Messages (MMS)



Sending a New Picture or Video in a Message (MMS):

1. While viewing the home screen, tap "Messaging"


2. Exploiter les »+" sign to create a message, then tap the "+" symbol again to expand the menu


3. Robinet"Capture picture" if you wish to take a new photo, or tap "Capture video" if you wish to record a new video


4. Follow the set of instructions for photo or video


5. Tap the icon depicting a check mark to insert the picture or the video in the message


6. Optionally, write your message in the appropriate field


7. Lorsque vous êtes prêt, appuyez sur "Send MMS "

Sending an Existing Picture or Video in a Message (MMS):

3. Robinet"Pictures»Ou«Videos" to insert a saved picture or a video


4. Select the desired media file


5. Exploiter les »Check mark" button to insert the picture or video in the message


6. Enter the desired message in the appropriate field, then tap the "Send MMS " button to send the message

Managing Messages



Saving Files Received in Multimedia Messages (MMS):

1. Robinet"Messaging" while on the home screen


2. Tap and hold the file that you wish to save, then tap "Save attachment"


3. Robinet"Download" to confirm, and wait for the "Attachment saved" notification to appear

Deleting Text or Multimedia Messages:

1. While viewing any of the home screens, tap "Messaging"


2. Press and hold the message that you wish to delete


3. Exploiter les »Trash can" icon, and then tap "Delete" to confirm your actions
