How-to: Send, Delete, Block Text and Multimedia Messages on the Samsung Galaxy Note 3

Blocking Messages



Blocking Messages or Spam from a Number via a Received Messages:

1. Alors que sur l'écran d'accueil, appuyez sur "Messagerie"


2. Tap and hold the conversation thread from the number that you wish to block


3. Robinet"Add to spam numbers« et tap »OK"

Blocking Messages or Spam from a Number via the Settings Menu:

1. Alors que sur l'écran d'accueil, appuyez sur "Messagerie"


2. Presse la »Menu"Bouton


3. Robinet"Réglages"


4. If necessary, mark the "Spam settingsCase "vérifier


5. Robinet"Add to spam numbers"


6. Presse la »+" icon to add a number


7. Type the number or tap the "Contacts" icon and select the number from the contacts list


8. Once finished, tap "Save"

Unblocking Messages



Unblocking Messages Using a Text or Multimedia Message:

1. Alors que sur l'écran d'accueil, appuyez sur "Messagerie"


2. Tap and hold the conversation thread from the number that you wish to unblock


3. Robinet"Remove from spam numbers"

Unblocking Messages Using the Settings Menu:

1. Alors que sur l'écran d'accueil, appuyez sur "Messagerie"


2. Presse la »Menu"Bouton


3. Robinet"Réglages"


4. If necessary, mark the check box associated with "Spam settings"


5. Robinet"Register number as spam"


6. Tap and hold the desired number and then tap "Delete"


7. Robinet"OK" to confirm

Sending Messages



Sending a Group Text Message:

1. Alors que sur l'écran d'accueil, appuyez sur "Messagerie"


2. Presse la »Compose" icon


3. Exploiter les »Contacts" icon and perform one of the following steps:
   
   
   
   
   • To send to a custom group:
     
     
     
     
     1. Exploiter les »Contacts"Onglet
     
     
     2. Select the desired contact. Repeat this stop to add more group memebers
     
     
     3. Robinet"Done"
     
     
     
     
   
   
   • To send to an already created group:
     
     
     
     
     1. Exploiter les »Groupes"Onglet
     
     
     2. Tap the group that you wish to send the message to
     
     
     3. Select individual recipients, or tap "Select all"
     
     
     4. Robinet"Done"
     
     
     
     
   
   
   
   


4. Type in the desired message in the "Enter message"Champ


5. Once ready, tap "Send"

Sending a New Picture or Video in a Multimedia Message:

1. While on the home screen, tap the "Apps" icon


2. Robinet"Camera" and perform one of the following steps:
   
   
   
   
   • To take a picture:
     
     
     
     
     1. If necessary, tap the "Switch" to select the proper camera mode
     
     
     2. Frame the subject and tap the "Shutter" icon
     
     
     
     
   
   
   • To capture a video:
     
     
     
     
     1. Exploiter les »Switch" button to go into the "Camcoder" mode
     
     
     2. If necessary, tap the "Réglages" icon, then tap "recording mode" and select "Limit for MMS "
     
     
     3. Presse la »Record" icon to begin recording
     
     
     4. Robinet"Stop" to stop the recording process
     
     
     
     
   
   
   
   


3. Tap the image or video "Thumbnail" located at the left corner of the display


4. Exploiter les »Partager" icon


5. Swipe up on the display and tap "Messagerie"


6. Enter the recipient's phone number, or select the desired contacts by pressing the "Contacts" icon


7. Tap the message field and enter the desired message


8. When ready, press "Send"

Sending an Existing Picture or Video in a Multimedia Message:

1. Alors que sur l'écran d'accueil, appuyez sur "Messagerie"


2. Exploiter les »Compose" icon


3. At "Enter recipient", enter the recipient's phone number. Alternatively, tap the "Contacts" icon, select an existing contact and tap "Done"


4. Type in your message in the "Enter message"Champ


5. Presse la »Joindre" icon depicted as a paperclip


6. Robinet"Images" or "Video"


7. Select either "Dropbox", "Gallery" or "Samsung Link"


8. Tap either "Always" or "Just once"


9. Navigate to the folder containing the desired media file


10. Tap the image or video thumbnail to attach it


11. When ready, press "Send"

Manage Messages



Deleting a Text or Multimedia Message:

1. From any of the home screens, tap "Messagerie"


2. Perform one of the following steps:
   
   
   
   
   • To delete an entire conversation thread:
     
     
     
     
     1. Tap and hold the conversation
     
     
     2. Robinet"Delete thread" and press "OK" to confirm
     
     
     
     
   
   
   • To delete an individual SMS / MMS:
     
     
     
     
     1. Tap the conversation thread containing the message that you wish to delete
     
     
     2. Tap and hold the message that you wish to delete
     
     
     3. Robinet"Delete message" and press "OK" to confirm
     
     
     
     
   
   
   
   

Saving Pictures Received via Multimedia Messages (MMS):

1. Robinet"Messagerie" located on the home screen


2. Tap the conversation thread containing the desired message


3. Tap and hold the media file that you wish to save


4. Sélectionnez"Save attachment"


5. Exploiter les »file name" to mark the check box associated with the file


6. Robinet"Save". Note: to access the default location where the file is saved: tap "Apps" on the home screen > "My files" > "All files" > "sdcard0" > "Download" folder

Viewing the current SMS Service Number:

1. Alors que sur l'écran d'accueil, appuyez sur "Messagerie"


2. Presse la »Menu"Bouton


3. Robinet"Réglages"


4. Go to the "SMS / MMS "Onglet


5. View "Message center"
