Motorola EX431G Black: No Ringer from Ford Sync When Phone Rings

Paired my EX431G with Microsoft Sync in my F150 platinum. I assigned Ringer 2 to the Motorola since Ringer 1 is assigned to my wifes Blackberry. Everything, except the ringer, works perfectly. Anytime I receive a call, the motorola rings but Sync stays quiet. I can answer the call with Sync and use voice commands and hands free, but no ring tone from the truck. Since Sync works properly with the Blackberry and Ringer 1, I swapped ring tones. Again, the Motorola won't trigger Sync and the BlackBerry worked perfectly now as Ringer 2.



a friend of mine said it is the fault of the EX431G because it doesn't support customized ringers for contacts. Does anyone know for sure?
