HTC Desire 700: Creating and Editing Contact Groups

Creating a New Contact Group:

1. Tap the "Apps" icon while on the home screen


2. Open the "People" application


3. Swipe to the "Groups" tab and tap the "+" icon


4. Enter a name for the group in the appropriate field


5. Tap "Menu" > "Add contacts to group"


6. Choose the contact that you want to add in the group


7. Tap "Save"


8. Continue to add contacts and then tap "Save" to exit the group editor mode

Editing a Group:

1. From the "People" app, access the "Groups" tab


2. Tap and hold a group and select "Edit group"


3. From the menu, you can:
   
   
   
   
   • To add contacts, press "Menu" > "Add contact to group"
   
   
   • You can rearrange group members by holding the list icon (three horizontal lines) and dragging the contact in a different location
   
   
   • You can change the group's name
   
   
   • You can remove contacts from the group by selecting them
   
   
   
   


4. Once you've made the necessary changes, tap "Save"
