Samsung Galaxy Star Pro: Block / Unblock Calls and Activate "Blocking Mode"

Blocking Calls from a Number:




  1. While viewing the home screen, press the "Menu" key

  2. Tap "Settings"

  3. Go to the "My device" tab

  4. Tap "Call" > "Call rejection"

  5. Tap "Auto reject list" > "Create"

  6. Perform one of the following steps:


    • To block a contact:


      1. Tap the "Contacts" icon

      2. Tap "Contacts" twice

      3. Select either "Just once" or "Always"

      4. Select the contact that you wish to block and tap "Save"



    • To block a number from the call logs:


      1. Tap the "Contacts" icon

      2. Tap "Logs" and select the number that you wish to block

      3. Tap "Save"



    • To block a phone number:


      1. Type in the desired phone number

      2. Make sure you have "Exactly the same as" enabled. Optionally, disable the option and tap "Match criteria" instead, and select a criteria such as "Starts with". By doing so, you can block all numbers from a certain area code








Unblocking a Number:




  1. While viewing the home screen, press the "Menu" button

  2. Tap "Settings"

  3. Access the "My device" tab and tap "Call"

  4. Tap "Call rejection" > "Auto reject list"

  5. Perform one of the following:


    • To allow calls from a number, but leave it on the block list: clear the check box associated with the desired number. NOTE: don't tap the number itself

    • To allow calls and remove the number from the blocking list:


      1. Tap the icon depicting a "Trash can"

      2. Tap the desired phone number

      3. Tap "Delete" twice to confirm








Enabling Blocking Mode:



NOTE: blocking mode will prevent any notifications from coming in. To enable the feature:




  1. Press the "Menu" button while on the home screen

  2. Tap "Settings" > "Blocking mode"
