Galaxy S4 call time quite longer than HTC One

Recenly my sister just got a second hand Galaxy S4. Compare to my old HTC ONE, what S4 impressed me most is the longer lasting call time.

Both of the two high end Smartphone are amazing. The mainly reason why to replace ONE is the battery life…it just not enough for my sister.

It is good to see S4’s 2600 mAh is removable battery, because One’s non-removable 2300mAh battery did not support many external replacement batteries. Samsung wins quite easily. With same Slow motion video recording, cable set top box remote control functionality and BlinkFeed, HTC One drained quicker than the Samsung Galaxy S4.

My sister's hope is that further updates will prolong ONE’S battery life in some degree. The company boasts of 27hr talk time over CDMA 3G and 479 hours of standby. After use I can say this is far from the truth. HTC One does solid mild-to-medium use and get about 12-30hours of overall use. While Samsung’s white paper states 17hour talk time, 350hr 3G standby time, 300hr 4G standby time...

S4 offers an additional capacity variant than the HTC One and her S4 is 64GB, half larger storage than my old ONE.

My sis likes to shoot films herself, so the camera is also important. But personally, I still prefer to take photo with HTC ONE. It is going for an UltraPixel camera with a host of tech to enhance photos and it can also do auto image stabilization. The images from ONE are great , even in low light settings.
