Without the most important requirement that offers users long lasting battery life and allows to talk every where, the BlackBerry Z10 can not become an excellent business phone.
But I think Z10’s OEM battery capacity is a bit low. Though it has an OS designed just for it, while Android runs on many different devices with many different chipsets.
The talk time of BlackBerry Z10 is about 8 and half hours, similar as many Android phones but a little shy of the iPhone 5 with a smaller battery. So I think Z10 is not wrose than other phones with OEM batteries.
I enjoy in watching videos using phones with large size screen. And base on a simple test I’ve made, my BlackBerry will last just around 8 hours, less than the data I found from internet… I don’t know the exact reason…but I got myself a MPJ extended 2750mAh battery, which allows me watch videos for over 9 hours now, and I don’t need to have an extra case. The only problem is I sometimes forget to do my assignments because of videos!
But for those only spend an hour each for calling, browsing and watching videos, The BlackBerry Z10 should be enough for two full days of usage, or one full day for heavier usage. But still, compare to Apple iPhone 5, the Z10 is a bit of a letdown.
Overall, I think BlackBerry is an great bussiness phone, but i need more battery life to watch videos so it would be much better with some extended batteries.
