How-to: Manage Bluetooth and Wi-Fi Connectivity on the LG G2

Bluetooth Management



Enabling / Disabling Bluetooth:




  1. While on the home screen, press the "Menu" key

  2. Tap "System settings"

  3. Under "Wireless & Networks", tap the switch associated with "Bluetooth" in order to enable or disable the feature




Pairing a Bluetooth Device:




  1. While viewing the home screen, press the "Menu" button

  2. Tap "System settings"

  3. If necessary, enable Bluetooth

  4. Tap "Bluetooth" and let the scanning process to complete

  5. Select the device that you wish to pair with

  6. Verify the passkey, then tap "Pair". (Note: by default, Bluetooth passkeys are either "1234" or "0000"

  7. If prompted, enter the PIN and tap "OK"

  8. Accept the pairing on the other device






Wi-Fi Management



Enabling / Disabling Wi-Fi Connectivity:




  1. From any of the home screens, press the "Menu" key

  2. Tap "System settings"

  3. Under "Wireless & Networks", tap "Wi-Fi"

  4. Press the switch associated with "Wi-Fi" in order to enable or disable the feature




Scanning and Connecting to Wi-Fi Networks:




  1. From the home screen, press the "Menu" button

  2. Select "System settings"

  3. Under "Wireless & networks", tap "Wi-Fi"

  4. Make sure that Wi-Fi is enabled

  5. Select the Wi-Fi network that you wish to connect to

  6. If prompted, enter the password, then tap "Connect"




Deleting a Wi-Fi Network Profile:




  1. While viewing any of the home screens, press the "Menu" button

  2. Tap "System Settings"

  3. Under "Wireless & Networks", tap "Wi-Fi"

  4. If necessary, tap the "Wi-Fi" switch to enable the feature

  5. Tap and hold the Wi-Fi network that you wish to delete

  6. Tap "Forget network"
