Is Handbrake the best dvd ripper?

I know many people may speak highly of Handbrake. I just want to get the best dvd ripper for my new Mac Mini (packed with Mountain Lion). When searching the best dvd ripper, I find one article comparing Handbrake,mactheripper and another software macx dvd ripper free edition. It seems that the last macx software scores more for rip any DVD movies to MP4, MKV, AVI, FLV,iTunes, iphone, ipad, samsung and more. How do you think? Would you try macx dvd ripper free edition or still stick to Handbrake?
