Any way to retrieve deleted text messages? LG Chocolate VX8560

I've had my LG Chocolate phone for about 1 year. There are old text messages from months ago that I deleted which I would like to get back. Is there any way possible to recover these texts? It is very important that I get them. I would be willing to send my phone somewhere and pay to get the texts. Thanks in advance for any help you can provide!
