Contacts from SIM are not displayed

I have backed up few contacts from my old phone to SIM and when I use the same SIM on my Sony xperia C3, I am unable to see those contacts stored in SIM. I tried different options under Contacts -> Filter , selected all, but I am unable see those contacts.



I also tried importing the SIM contacts to Local, but not successful. Any idea where these local contacts are stored?
