Can no longer send text to pc?

I don't have the texting option on my phone so I would communicate with my son by sending him texts with my pc and he could answer me with his VM phone to my pc. At that time he didn't have internet but now does through wifi at his appt.

All of a sudden he can no longer send me texts to my pc. He receives my texts but I no longer receive his?



Does the fact that he now has the internet prevent him from sending texts to my pc? His phone is an LG.
