Battery problems with samsung s3mini

last couple of days have had problems with my s3mini, battery looks drained, I then charge it to 100% it then says charged and 100% on display screen and works for about a day but the display screen shows no change in the mobile usage it still says its charged and 100% then suddenly it dies and I have to recharge from empty, any ideas, thanks
