Via a Google Account:
NOTE: With the help of a Google account you can sync the contacts stored on your SGSIII. Once this step is done, the contacts synced with the account can then be re-synced with the Galaxy Note Edge.
Using the "Contacts" App:
NOTE: Using the pre-loaded "Contacts" application you can export the contacts stored on the SGSIII as a vCard file, after which you can transfer and import the file on the Galaxy Note Edge, via email or using a computer.
NOTE: Once you have created the vCard file on the SGSIII, you can transfer it to the Note Edge by connecting both smartphones to your computer via USB, and manually copy-pasting it on the Edge's storage. The import process remains the same as explained above
Using "Send Anywhere":
NOTE: Send Anywhere is a third party application that can be used for transferring contacts and other types of files via a P2P connection.

- On the Galaxy SIII, sign in with your Google account
- Press "Menu" while viewing a home screen
- Go to "Settings" and tap "My accounts"
- Select "Google" and tap your "user name" or "email address"
- Clear and mark the check box next to "Sync Contacts", or tap "Sync now"
- On the Galaxy Note Edge, sign in with the same Google account
- Go to "Settings" > "User and Backup"
- Tap "Accounts", press "Menu" and select "Sync All"

- Open the "Contacts" app on the Samsung Galaxy SIII
- Go to the "Contacts" tab and press "Menu"
- Tap "Contacts to display" > "All contacts"
- Press "Menu" and tap "Import / Export"
- Tap "Export to SD Card" and make sure you remember or write down the backup file's name for future use
- Tap "OK"
- Open your email client and start composing a new email
- Attach the exported vCard file to the email, and send it to your own email address
- On the Galaxy Note Edge, open the email and download the attached vCard file
- Open the "Contacts" app
- Access the "Contacts" tab and press "Menu"
- Tap "Settings" > "Contacts" > "Import / Export"
- Select to "Import from SD card" or "USB storage" (depending on where the vCard file is located)
- Follow any additional steps to load the VCF file to your phonebook

- Go to the Google Play Store and download "Send Anywhere" on both Galaxy devices
- Launch the app on both smartphones
- From the Galaxy SIII, tap "Send" and select "Contacts"
- Mark the contacts you want to transfer and tap "Send"
- Select a method of transfer. You can tap "Receive" on the Galaxy Note Edge, and enter the randomly generated transfer code from the SGSIII. Alternatively, tap "Generate QR Code" on the SIII, and scan the code with the Edge's camera to begin the transfer
