Changing the Default Memory Storage Location
NOTE: The majority of pre-loaded applications store data on the phone's internal memory by default. You can set most applications so that data is stored on the SD card instead.
Change the Storage Settings for the "Camera" App:
Change the Storage Location for the "Internet Browser":
- Turn off your handset
- Remove the back cover
- Insert the microSD card in its slot with the gold contacts facing down
- Refit the back cover and turn on your phone
- From the home screen, tap "Apps"
- Go to "Settings" and swipe to "Device"
- Tap "Storage" > "Mount SD card"

- Go to "Settings"
- Swipe to "Device" and tap "Storage"
- Scroll to "SD Card" and view the "Available" value

Managing Files via a Windows PC:
- Connect the LG G3 Cat.6 to your PC via USB
- Swipe the "Status" bar down and tap "USB connected"
- Tap "Connect USB storage"
- On the computer, from the AutoPlay window, click "Open folder to view files" > "OK"
- Access the SD card and locate the desired files
- Open or delete the files as you desire. When you're done, tap "Disconnect storage from PC"
Managing Files via a Mac Computer:
- Establish a connection between the LG G3 Cat.6 and Mac via USB
- Access the LG G3 Cat.6's external storage
- Double-click to open a file or delete the desired items
- Once done, click the LG G3 Cat.6 drive icon located on the Mac's desktop, and safely disconnect your smartphone from the computer
Managing Files via the Smartphone's Menu:
- While viewing the home screen, tap "Apps"
- Tap "File Manager" > "All files"
- Tap "SD card" and open the desired folders
- Tap to open a file
- To delete an item, tap and hold it, then tap "Delete" > "Yes"

Transferring Files Using a Windows PC:
- Connect the LG G3 Cat.6 to your computer via USB
- Swipe the "Notification" bar down
- Tap "USB connected" > "Connect USB storage"
- From the AutoPlay window on the computer, click to open the smartphone's files and folders
- Access the phone's "Removable Disk" drive
- Transfer the necessary files between the PC and SD
- Once the transfer is complete, tap "Disconnect storage from PC"
Transferring Files From the Internal Storage to the SD Card:
- From the home screen, tap "Apps"
- Launch "File Manager" and tap "All files"
- Select "Internal storage" and navigate to the desired files stored on the phone's memory
- Mark the check boxes associated with the files / folders you wish to transfer
- Press "Menu" and tap "Move". To create duplicate files, tap "Copy" instead
- Tap "SD memory card" and go to where you wish to transfer the files
- Tap "Move here" or "Paste here"
Transferring Files from the SD Card to the Internal Storage:
- Open the apps drawer and launch "File Manager"
- Tap "All files" > "SD card"
- Navigate to the desired files and / or folders
- Select the items you wish to transfer
- Press "Menu" and tap "Move" or "Copy"
- Tap "Device storage" and navigate to the location where the files need to be transferred
- Tap "Move here" or "Paste here"
