We are a bit light on the ground for decent phone forums in OZ.
Population is small at 22 million.
We call our cell-phones "mobiles" ... we are odd like that. :D
Up until about xx years ago we had one federal government owned phone carrier "Telstra"
... and everything was $$$$$$. :flamemad:
Now we have many carriers all jostling for a market share, and thankfully prices have become more realistic/affordable.
- I can phone my brother in Massachusetts for 6c/minute on my cell/mobile. (cheaper than landline)
As a dinosaur (b.1945) my reptilian brain cells are crammed with useless information from the dark ages.
Thank you for allowing me to join your forum :)
