NOTE: You can't set custom ringtones to contacts, if they are stored on the phone's internal memory or the SIM card

Transferring Audio Files from a Windows PC:
- Connect the Galaxy Young 2 to your computer via USB
- On the home screen, swipe the "Notification" bar down
- Tap "Connected as a media device" > "media device (MTP)"
- From the AutoPlay window on your computer, click "Open device to view files using Windows Explorer"
- Access the directory where you wish to transfer the audio files
- Open a second Windows Explorer window and navigate to where the audio files are stored on your PC
- Copy the desired files, and paste them on your phone's storage
- Once the transfer is done, click the mass storage device icon located in the system tray, and safely disconnect your smartphone
Transferring Audio Files from a Mac:
NOTE: If you have already installed Kies on your Mac, skip the first two steps
- Launch the Internet browser on your Mac and visit Kies
- Click "Download for Mac OS" and follow the on-screen instructions to install Kies
- Use the USB cable to connect the Young 2 to your Mac
- Swipe the "Notification" bar down and tap "Connected as a media device"
- If necessary, mark the "Media device (MTP)" check box
- Launch Kies on the Mac, and click the "Folder" icon next to "Internal memory" or "External memory"
- In Kies, navigate to where you wish to copy the audio files
- Locate the audio files on the Mac's hard drive
- Drag the files from the PC into Kies
- After the transfer is complete, safely disconnect your smartphone
Ringtone and Notification Management
Adding Audio Files to the Ringtone List:
- Press "Menu" while viewing a home screen
- Tap "Settings" > "Sound" > "Ringtones"
- Tap "Add" and select "Sound picker" or "Choose music track"
- Choose to open the file using the selected method "Just once" or "Always"
- Press "OK"
Adding Audio Files to the Notification List:
- Tap "Apps" while on the home screen
- Open "My Files" and tap "All files"
- Navigate to the desired audio files
- Tap and hold a file, and select "Copy"
- Tap "Device storage", and open the "Notifications" folder
- Tap "Paste here"
Changing the Ringtone and Notification Sound

- Press "Menu" from the home screen
- Tap "Settings" and go to "Sound"
- Tap "Ringtones"
- Select a ringtone and tap "OK"
Changing the Ringtone for One Contact Only:

- Tap "Contacts" while on the home screen
- Go to "Edit" and tap "Ringtone"
- Select the desired ringtone
- Tap "OK" > "Save"

- Tap "Notifications" and choose the desired audio file
- Tap "OK" to confirm your selection
