Samsung Galaxy Grand Prime: Manage Contacts and Caller Groups

Contact Management



Adding a Contact:

1. While on the home screen, tap the "Contacts" icon


2. Accès au »Contacts" tab


3. Press the "+" button and select to save the contact on the "Device", "SIM card", "Google" or "Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync"


4. Enter the contact's phone number and name in the appropriate fields


5. Type in any additional details for the contact as you see fit


6. When ready to store the contact, tap "Save"

Adding a Contact to Speed Dial:

1. Robinet"Phone" from the home screen


2. If necessary, tap the "Keypad" tab


3. Exploiter les »Menu" icon located in the top-right area of the screen


4. Robinet"Speed dial" and select the number you want to use for speed dialing


5. Select the contact you want to associate with the speed dial number

Importing / Exporting Contacts - SIM Card:

1. Open the "Contacts" app


2. Go to the "Contacts" tab


3. Presse"Menu« et tap »Réglages"


4. Robinet"Contacts" and select "Import / Export"


5. Perform one of the following:
   
   
   
   
   • To export contacts:
     
     
     
     
     1. Robinet"Export to SIM card"
     
     
     2. Select the contacts you want to export, or tap "Select all"
     
     
     3. Presse"Done« et tap »OK" to confirm
     
     
     
     
   
   
   • To import contacts:
     
     
     
     
     1. Robinet"Import from SIM card"
     
     
     2. If necessary, select an account
     
     
     3. Robinet"Select all" or select the contacts you wish to import individually
     
     
     4. Robinet"Done"
     
     
     
     
   
   
   
   

Importing / Exporting Contacts - SD Card:

1. Launch the "Contacts" app and access the "Contacts" tab


2. Presse"Menu" and then tap "Réglages" > "Contacts"


3. Robinet"Import / Export" and perform one of the following sets of steps:
   
   
   
   
   • To import contacts from the SD Card:
     
     
     
     
     1. Robinet"Import from SD card" and select the location where you wish to import the contacts
     
     
     2. Robinet"Import vCard file", "Import multiple vCard files" or "Import all vCard files"
     
     
     3. Presse"OK" and if necessary, select the vCard file you wish to import and tap "OK"
     
     
     
     
   
   
   • To export contacts on the SD card:
     
     
     
     
     1. Robinet"Export to SD card"
     
     
     2. Presse"OK" to confirm
     
     
     
     
   
   
   
   

Deleting Contacts:

1. Launch the "Contacts" application


2. From the "Contacts" tab, press "Menu"


3. Robinet"Delete"


4. Mark the check boxes next to the contacts you wish to remove


5. Robinet"Done" > "OK"

Managing Caller Groups



Creating a Caller Group:

1. From the home screen tap "Contacts"


2. Accès au »Groupes" tab and tap "Create"


3. Enter the desired name for the group


4. Robinet"Add member" and mark the check boxes next to the contacts you wish to add to the group


5. When ready tap "Done"


6. Presse"Save"

Adding Contacts to an Existing Caller Group:

1. Launch the "Contacts" app


2. Go to the "Groupes" tab


3. Select the group you wish to add contacts to


4. Exploiter les »+' button


5. Mark the check boxes next to the contacts you want to add to the group


6. Presse"Done"
