ZTE ZMAX: Clear App / Phone Cache; Reboot in Safe Mode

Clearing an Application's Cache or Data:



REMARQUE: In case one of your applications isn't working properly, then you can try and fix it by clearing the app's cache, or data.



MISE EN GARDE ! Clearing an application's data will result in the deletion of all personal data stored within the app, including login information, saved games, settings, credit card information, high score, profiles etc. As such, it's recommended that you first try and solve these issues by clearing the app's cache




  1. Alors que sur l'écran d'accueil, appuyez sur "Apps"

  2. Robinet"Réglages" et faites défiler jusqu'à "Dispositif"

  3. Robinet"Apps" et balayez jusqu'à "Tous les»,«Exécution»Ou«Téléchargé"

  4. Sélectionnez l'application souhaitée

  5. Robinet"Vider le cache"

  6. Si l'effacement de la mémoire cache n'a pas aidé, appuyez sur "Effacer les données" trop et appuyez sur la touche "OK"Pour confirmer




Essuyant le Téléphone de la Partition de Cache:



REMARQUE: Assuming that your phone is not working as intended and causes issues, freezes, crashes etc. then you might be able to fix these issues while avoiding master resetting your handset, by wiping its cache partition. Unlike a master reset, wiping the cache will not delete personal data stored on the phone's internal memory. To wipe the cache:




  1. Éteindre le smartphone

  2. Appuyez sur la touche "Volume Up« et »Puissance" les boutons en même temps

  3. Quand le "ZTE" logo appears on the screen, release the hardware keys

  4. At the recovery screen, press "Volume down" to navigate to and highlight "wipe cache partition"

  5. Press "Puissance" to select the highlighted option

  6. Wait for your device to display the "Cache wipe complete" message

  7. Press "Puissance" with "Reboot system now" selected, and wait for your smartphone to reboot

Safe Mode:



REMARQUE: Safe mode allows the user to reboot the smartphone without third party support. As such, in case you have installed a malicious app that prevents you to uninstall it while running, reboot your device in safe mode and then easily remove the app, as explained below:




  1. With your smartphone turned on, press and hold the "Puissance" key

  2. Tapez et maintenez le "Power off" option until a dialog box appears

  3. Press "OK" to confirm rebooting in safe mode

  4. After the phone reboots in safe mode, tap "Apps" while on the home screen

  5. Robinet"Réglages" et balayez jusqu'à "Dispositif"

  6. Robinet"Apps" and swipe to the "Téléchargé" screen

  7. Select the desired app and tap "Uninstall"

  8. Press "OK"Pour confirmer

  9. To exit safe mode, press and hold the "Puissance" button

  10. Robinet"Restart" and press "OK"
